I am a retired police officer who for the last 15 years of service was a senior instructor at the world famous Metropolitan Police Driving School at Hendon, North West London.

In that time apart from police officers, I instructed the Princess of Wales, the chauffeurs of the Queen, the Right Honourable Margaret Thatcher and the Right Honourable John Major and other cabinet ministers.

I am also a fully trained Evasive Techniques and Anti Hi-Jack instructor to Home Office guidelines, a Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor, a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists and a holder of a full Class One LGV and PCV licence.

Approximately 3,500 people die in the UK every year as a result of motor vehicle accidents - the equivalent of 10 fully laden jumbo jets. No one would fly if that occurred, but we all drive motor vehicles without giving it a second thought.  Defensive Driver Training will help cut that death rate.

As I am a sole trader I do not have the overheads that other driver training companies have. Therefore I can pass these savings on to clients, which is so important in these difficult economic times.
